Objectives

The objectives of the “CHILDREN OF TIME” association are:

1.To help and assist the competent bodies with regard to the effectuation of the measures for child, which allow the child to remain under the care of his family according to origin or to be adopted in the Republic of Bulgaria.
2.To effectuate mediation during national or international adoption according to the legally established requirements for this activity.
3.To encourage the collaboration with affiliate national and foreign organizations for the creation and establishment of rules for transparency, moral conduct and ethical attitude.
4.To assist the development of professional skills and knowledge and to encourage international collaboration in the sphere of adoption by supporting the Bulgarian participation in joint programs, seminars and trainings.
5.Development and establishment of the physical and spiritual integration of the children in foster families for the purpose of their further integration in society.
6.Development and assistance of international adoption in the effectuation of the mediation activity during adoption.
7.Assistance of social integration and the realization of personal qualities of children as a result of their integration in the foster families and society.

The means with which the association will achieve its objectives, are:

1. purchase and providing of the requisite literature for conducting the activity of the association
2. providing a base for consultations
3. development of specific social programs and projects for the assistance of the association’s activity
4. organization of trainings and seminars in the sphere of international adoption
